Lane Woods is a GreenPoint Rated infill community of single-family homes, carefully designed to integrate with 79 large existing mature trees. The project also relocated 12 large mature elm trees to completely envelop the homes within the mature landscape. The project incorporated green building principles such as permeable paving, low water use plantings, drip irrigation, smart controllers and sustainable landscape design. In addition, an existing courtyard that was an integral part of the existing business park was renovated and brought outside into the public realm, to serve as a focal gathering place for the community.
